Cabbage Monro

Monro F1 cabbage is a mid-late hybrid developed by the Japanese company Sakata, characterized by high yield and resistance to adverse growing conditions. This variety successfully adapts to various soil types and climatic conditions, including water deficiency, high temperatures, and light frosts. The plant features uniform germination and simultaneous maturity, facilitating harvest and increasing efficiency.

Monro cabbage heads have an ideal round shape and a rich green color with a strong waxy coating that protects them from external influences. Head weights range from 2.2 to 4.5 kg, and the internal structure features tightly packed leaves forming an attractive pattern. The cabbage has excellent taste qualities, making it versatile for fresh consumption, processing, and long-term storage.

Moreover, the Monro variety exhibits high resistance to several diseases, including fusarium, internal necrosis, root rot, and damage from thrips. A well-developed root system promotes stable plant growth even under challenging conditions. Thanks to these characteristics, Monro F1 cabbage is a reliable choice for cultivation in various regions and is suitable for diverse culinary uses, including salads, hot dishes, and pickling.
