Bellflower Evening Bell

Structural Design of the «Vecheriy Zvon» Cultivar

The breeding program conducted by the Kapris Farm under the guidance of Vyacheslav Vasilyevich Shepelev has produced a decorative cultivar specifically engineered for climatic resilience and strict phenotypic uniformity. The core technical advantage of this cultivar lies in its optimized corolla geometry, which ensures both long-lasting floral aesthetics and physiological robustness across diverse soil and climatic conditions in Russia.

Technical Morphology Insights

• Corolla Architecture: The strictly bell-shaped structure is designed to minimize surface moisture retention, effectively shedding precipitation and preventing fungal rot in the delicate petals during heavy rains. The angle of the bloom is calibrated for natural drainage.
• Stem Integrity: A key achievement of the Kapris Farm breeding process is the enhanced structural strength of the flower stalk. The cultivar exhibits high resistance to lodging; it maintains vertical alignment even in gusty winds, removing the need for manual staking in open-field cultivation.
• Biological Predictability: The genetic foundation provided by the originator ensures consistent plant development cycles. This predictability allows agronomists and landscape designers to synchronize flowering phases with high precision.

Utilizing «Vecheriy Zvon» in professional landscapes and floral production relies on its stable cultivar characteristics. Thanks to the meticulous selection maintained by the Kapris Farm, the plant responds consistently to standard fertilization protocols and demonstrates high resistance to typical floral pathogens. This is a refined choice for practitioners who prioritize material reliability and predictable growth cycles in their horticultural projects.
