The Campanula 'Evening Bell' is a sun-loving and hardy plant reaching up to 80 cm in height, featuring large funnel-shaped flowers measuring 7–8 cm in length, which can be blue, white, or pink in color. Blooming lasts from June to August (or September), with each bud opening as a separate bell, creating a delicate and airy atmosphere in garden beds, alpine gardens, and borders.
For planting, it is recommended to sow seeds in spring – late April or early May – at a depth of 0.5–1 cm with a spacing of 30–40 cm between plants. Seeds should be evenly distributed on slightly compacted and moist soil, then gently pressed and covered with film to accelerate germination. At an optimal temperature of 18–20 °C, the first shoots appear after three weeks, after which the plants can be transplanted into open ground.
The Campanula is characterized by good drought resistance and cold tolerance, requiring no additional winter cover. It is excellent for both group plantings and creating miniature bouquets of cut flowers. The package weight of seeds is 0.3 g (20 packets), and each packet contains approximately 6 g of pure seeds. The manufacturer is a company from Germany, and there is also an option available from the Ukrainian producer GL Seeds.
