Aster Fairytale

Practical Application of 'Skazka' Asters

The 'Skazka' aster is a versatile variety designed for both commercial cut flower production and professional landscaping. Reaching a height of 50–80 cm, these plants are highly regarded for their sturdy stems, which ensure ease of handling and maintenance in various planting schemes.

Main Cultivation Scenarios

• Commercial Cut Flowers: The height and structural integrity of the stems make this variety an excellent candidate for bouquet production. The stems provide a reliable, uniform appearance, essential for meeting market quality standards.
• Landscaping and Borders: Due to its 50–80 cm height, 'Skazka' is ideal for the middle layer of flower beds. In border planting, it creates a dense, uniform look that resists lodging, maintaining aesthetic appeal throughout the season.

Developed by the Federal Research Center for Vegetable Growing, this variety adheres to strict phenotypic standards. For optimal results, growers should prioritize well-draining soils and adequate sunlight. A balanced fertilization program during the budding stage is highly recommended, as it directly impacts the vigor and market value of the harvested stems. This variety is a practical solution for those looking for predictable growth patterns and high-quality floral output.
