Description SPINOZA
Aralia (Aralia spinosa L.) – a fast-growing tree from the Aralia family, widely used as an ornamental plant and in folk medicine. The roots of this species are a full substitute for ginseng: they contain glycosides, saponins, resins, essential oils, fatty acids, and vitamins C, B1, B2, making them valuable for maintaining health.

Aralia leaves have a similar effect to the roots. The plant features spiny stems and leaves resembling ferns, as well as white flowers that appear in moderate climate zones. Aralia grows well in both open, sunny areas and partial shade; under direct sun, the leaf edges may slightly burn and curl.

For growing Aralia, a plot with light, fertile, moderately moist soil and good drainage is required. The plant can be propagated by seeds, root suckers, and green cuttings. Thanks to its frost resistance and ornamental appearance, Aralia is often planted between trees in parks and gardens, where it adds an interesting landscape element.
