Flame®. Early winter variety.

Tree is low-growing with a drooping crown shape, cold-hardy, moderately resistant to scab, highly resistant to powdery mildew, and early bearing.

Fruits are medium to large in size, medium uniformity, round-conical, with a regular shape. Skin is thin, smooth, and glossy, greenish-yellow with a diffuse pink-red blush covering most of the surface, covered with a blue-gray bloom. Flesh is yellowish-white, dense, juicy, aromatic, with a pleasant tart-sweet flavor, 4.3-4.6 points. Harvesting maturity occurs at the end of September to beginning of October. Apples can be stored in a refrigerator until March. High transportability.
