Degamoara is a sophisticated intergeneric orchid hybrid belonging to the Orchidaceae family. It is a cross-breed involving the genera Brassia, Miltonia, and Odontoglossum, inheriting its characteristic sympodial growth habit and the formation of bulbous storage organs known as pseudobulbs.

Successful cultivation requires a stable environment with moderate temperatures. Ideally, day temperatures should range between 22°C and 26°C, while night temperatures should drop to approximately 16°C to 18°C. The substrate must be highly porous and well-draining, typically consisting of medium-grade pine bark, charcoal, and a small amount of sphagnum moss. Proper air circulation around the roots is vital to prevent suffocation, which is a common issue with indoor orchid maintenance.
Degamoara requires bright, indirect lighting conditions. Harsh, direct sunlight will cause severe leaf scorch, particularly during the middle of the day. Placing the plant in an east or west-facing window with light filtration is usually the best approach for optimal foliage health.
