Soil requirements for Areca vestiaria include a well-draining, nutrient-rich substrate composed of peat moss, perlite, and organic humus. The palm demands stable moisture levels in the root zone, but it cannot tolerate waterlogging, which necessitates excellent drainage holes in the container.
