In its natural habitat, the plant grows in the understory of rainforests, where it is sheltered from direct sunlight and benefits from consistently high atmospheric moisture levels.

To cultivate this species successfully, a stable temperature environment is essential, ideally kept between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius. Any significant drop in temperature or exposure to cold drafts can be detrimental to the health of the plant.

The soil requirements involve a loose, nutrient-rich, and well-draining substrate. It is advisable to use organic-rich potting mixes that maintain a slightly acidic pH, which helps the roots access vital minerals efficiently.

Standard cultivation practices require consistent moisture levels without waterlogging the root system. Proper drainage in pots or greenhouse beds is mandatory, and high air humidity (over 70 percent) should be maintained through regular misting systems.
