Sintenis Rockrose

Sintenis Rockrose (Cistus sintenisii) is a perennial evergreen shrub belonging to the Cistaceae family. This species is native to specific habitats in the Balkans, thriving in rocky, arid landscapes characteristic of the Mediterranean climate zone.

The plant requires full sun exposure to thrive and maintain its compact, shrubby habit. It is highly adapted to intense solar radiation, which triggers the production of aromatic resins on the leaves, a key characteristic of the genus Cistus.
