Drakosha

The Zucchini variety Drakosha is an early-maturing variety, ripening 40-43 days after seedling emergence. This variety is distinguished by its high yield — up to 7-8 kg per plant, as well as good marketability and resistance to diseases and pests. The plant is of bush type with a high degree of female flower formation, which contributes to abundant fruiting. It can be grown either by seedling method, with sowing for seedlings in April and transplanting into open ground in May-June, or by direct sowing into open ground at the end of May — June. The recommended planting scheme is 60x60 cm or 70x70 cm for optimal development.

Drakosha zucchini fruits have an elongated-cylindrical shape with a smooth black-green skin. Fruit mass varies from 0.6 to 1.0 kg, while large mature specimens can reach 1-2 kg and more. The flesh is light beige, dense, and has a delicate, dietary taste. Young fruits 10-15 cm long are widely used in salads and for preparing light dietary dishes. Thanks to the dense structure and good storability, mature fruits can be stored in room conditions until the next season, making the variety convenient for long-term use.

The Drakosha variety is suitable for growing in open ground on sunny sites. It is versatile in application: fruits are used in home cooking, suitable for canning and making zucchini caviar.
