Clarnet F1 — ultra-early hybrid of bush-type zucchini, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under cover. The plant is compact and densely leafy, with a long fruiting period. Bushes form cylindrical or elongated-convex fruits 15–18 cm long and 4–5 cm in diameter. At technical maturity, fruits have greenish-white or golden-yellow coloration, with white or light-salad flesh that is juicy and tender, rich in carotene and sweet in taste. The hybrid is characterized by high yield and resistance to diseases and pests, allowing cultivation without chemical protection. The plant retains its shape even when overripe, and harvesting is done selectively, daily collecting young fruits with tender and juicy flesh. Clarnet F1 is suitable for fresh consumption as well as for canning, pickling, and processing. The hybrid can be grown using either seedling or direct sowing methods. Seeds are sown into soil at a temperature no lower than +12–14°C, at a depth of 4–6 cm, with a sowing rate of 0.2–0.4 g per square meter. Optimal temperature for plant development is +20–25°C. Seedlings are transplanted at 20–30 days of age, with spacing of 80x100 or 90x90 cm, leaving 1–2 plants per hill. Best soils for cultivation are fertile light loams or chernozems with neutral or slightly alkaline reaction. Zucchini does not tolerate high humidity, especially in greenhouses, so proper care and ventilation are required.
