Description CAZAK
CAZAK is barley, one of the most important and widely cultivated grain crops. It is characterized by high water-use efficiency and can withstand dry conditions and low temperatures, making it versatile for various climatic zones. Depending on agronomic goals, barley is divided into spring and winter varieties, as well as two-row and six-row types. For brewing industry, two-row spring barley is preferred due to its superior qualities for malt production.

Barley cultivation requires a specific agronomic approach, including 2-3 irrigations during the plant's life cycle. Fertilizer application depends on the crop's purpose: for brewing barley, complex fertilizers with an NPK ratio of 45:60:60 are recommended, while for feed barley, the ratio is 60:40:40. This promotes optimal plant growth and development, enhancing yield and grain quality.

Despite its resistance to unfavorable conditions, barley is susceptible to several diseases, such as loose smut, stem rust, and powdery mildew. Additionally, the crop can be affected by pests, including the granary weevil and aleurite. Successful cultivation requires timely protective measures to minimize losses and maintain high crop quality.
