Watermelon DELICIOUS

Watermelon Delicatus is a mid-early hybrid ripening 80-85 days after germination, intended for growing in open ground and under film coverings. The plant is of medium height, fruits are round, large, weighing from 8-12 to 16 kg. The rind is thin but strong, green in color with black-green stripes, giving the watermelon an attractive appearance. The flesh is bright red, granular, very sweet with sugar content over 12%, ensuring a rich and amazing taste. The hybrid is characterized by high yield – from one plant you can collect from 24 to 32 kg of fruits. It is resistant to a complex of diseases, which facilitates care and increases yield reliability. Thanks to the thin but strong rind, watermelons are well transported and maintain their market qualities during storage, making them convenient for sale and long-term use. Watermelon Delicatus is versatile in use: it is recommended to consume fresh, as well as use for making candied peel and watermelon honey. The flesh is juicy, aromatic and tender, which makes this variety especially valuable for lovers of sweet and aromatic fruits. This hybrid combines large-fruitedness, high taste qualities and excellent transportability, which makes it an excellent choice for gardeners and consumers.
