The "Childhood" rose cultivar is a compact and spreading bush, about 40-50 cm tall, with dark green, glossy, and slightly wavy leaves. This Floribunda variety is distinguished by a unique bicolor flower coloring: bright pink petals with a white center and a cream reverse side create an amazing and unique effect. The flowers are spherical, double-flowered, 5-7 cm in diameter, containing 40-60 petals and possessing a rich aroma reminiscent of the scent of an old rose and wild rose. The "Childhood" rose is characterized by abundant and prolonged blooming, which repeats throughout the season. Flowers can be single or gathered into inflorescences of up to 9 on one stem, which makes the plant especially decorative. Bushes are low and ground-hugging; sometimes the flowers trail along the ground, which allows the cultivar to be used for planting between low bushes, as well as along the edges of flower beds and borders. The rose is well adapted to the Russian climate, resistant to rain, frost, and various diseases, including powdery mildew and black spot. The "Childhood" variety was bred in 1976 and is deservedly considered one of the best representatives of domestic breeding. It is not demanding on soils and is characterized by high frost resistance, which makes it an excellent choice for gardeners who value reliability and decorativeness. Due to its qualities and original appearance, this rose is perfect for group plantings and creating standard compositions, adding brightness and elegance to the garden throughout the season.
