Rose RUIU 5451

Professional insights: managing the RUIU 5451 variety

This shrub rose combines Dutch breeding precision with high performance in a commercial setting. Unlike more delicate cut flower varieties, this hybrid is robust and provides predictable blooming cycles, which is essential for workforce planning and logistical management.

Performance and Maintenance

Standing between 80 and 120 cm, the bush is well-suited for standard greenhouse spacing, promoting optimal airflow. The high disease resistance of the RUIU 5451 is a significant advantage, reducing the need for aggressive chemical intervention and lowering operational costs.

• Flower Quality: The double-flowered, 10-15 cm blooms feature a vibrant red-orange hue. The petal structure is dense, ensuring excellent shelf life and transit durability.
• Operational Ease: The variety responds well to standard fertilization schedules and does not require overly specialized maintenance, making it manageable for staff of varying skill levels.
• Harvest Schedule: The wave-like flowering pattern allows for a organized, rhythmic harvest, providing steady supply throughout the season.

For those prioritizing a balance between high-end aesthetic appeal and the rugged requirements of commercial floriculture, the RUIU 5451 is a reliable, high-performing asset.
