Tomato Zoryanii

A masterpiece of breeding for true flavor connoisseurs

The "Zorianyi" tomato, developed by the specialists at the Cherkasy Institute of Agro-Industrial Production of the UAAS, belongs to a group of heirloom-like varieties valued for their taste profile rather than logistical speed. This indeterminate variety requires careful pruning and attention, but it fully compensates for the labor with its exceptional yield.

Character and appearance

"Zorianyi" stands out among commercial hybrids with a complex color palette: its fruits range from deep red to rich orange and brown shades. The heart-shaped form and weight exceeding 200 grams make it an ideal choice for gourmet salads and homemade sauces. With a maturity period of 120–130 days, it is classified as a mid-to-late variety — not a "fast" tomato, but a crop for those who prefer letting the fruit ripen on the vine to accumulate maximum sugar content.

Strengths and weaknesses

• Strengths: Unmatched dessert taste, high marketability of large fruits, excellent adaptation to Ukrainian climatic conditions.
• Weakness: The long vegetative period necessitates mandatory pruning and staking, which may present a challenge for novice gardeners.

This variety is tailored for growers who prioritize quality over quantity. "Zorianyi" is perfect for greenhouses and open ground with supports, where it maximizes its potential to produce fruits that you simply won't find in a standard supermarket.
