SEMCO 25

Tomato SEMCO 25 is a fast-maturing hybrid suitable for cultivation in plastic greenhouses and tunnels, as well as in open ground. The time from germination to fruiting is approximately 85-95 days, allowing for a quick harvest. Plants can be either low-growing (up to 80 cm) or indeterminate with a height of up to 170 cm, depending on growing conditions and pruning. For optimal development, it is recommended to form plants into 2-3 stems and provide support and pinching, especially when grown in protected ground. The fruits of tomato SEMCO 25 have a flat-round shape and are characterized by a vibrant red color. Fruit weight ranges from 80-90 g to 150-160 g, making them versatile for use in salads and canning. The fruits have excellent taste and maintain their market quality for up to 30 days after harvest. The plant forms clusters with 6-7 fruits, and the first flower appears after 9-11 leaves. The hybrid has high yield: one plant can produce 2-2.5 kg, and in greenhouses, over 25 kg per square meter. Hybrid SEMCO 25 is resistant to a wide range of diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, bronze disease, tomato mosaic, leaf curling, cladosporiasis, verticillium wilt, fusarium, and gall nematodes. This makes it a reliable choice for farmers and gardeners aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality harvest. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in April, followed by transplanting into the ground in May-June, with spacing of 40x50 cm or 70x40 cm depending on growing conditions.
