Tomato Caramelka — an ultra-early determinate variety of Russian breeding, characterized by compact bushes about 40 cm tall and high decorative value. The leaves are small and dark green, and the inflorescences are complex with pedicels having joints. The fruits are egg-shaped, smooth, medium-density, but with a tough skin. In ripe state, they turn pink, and in unripe — light green. The weight of one fruit ranges from 20 to 30 grams, typical for cherry tomatoes. Caramelka is renowned for its exceptional taste: the fruits are juicy, tender, with pronounced sweetness and no acidity. Due to these qualities, the tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for whole-fruit preservation in marinades or homemade juice. Additionally, they can be used to make fresh tomato juice and jams. The variety is versatile in use and visually appealing, making it popular among both children and adults. The variety is resistant to major diseases of solanaceous crops, including Fusarium wilt, Cladosporium leaf spot, and mosaic virus, and also tolerates low air temperatures. Yield is about 1.8 kg per square meter, which is a good indicator for low-growing cherry tomatoes. The period from germination to fruit ripening takes 70–75 days, allowing the first harvest as early as early June and continuing throughout the summer.
