Consistent Yields for Commercial Processing

The «Hidalgo» tomato variety from the «Sedek» brand is a reliable, determinate choice for growers who prioritize efficiency and durability. Designed for outdoor cultivation, these plants are highly resilient and require minimal maintenance, making them an excellent candidate for large-scale production. With a maturity window of 100–120 days, farmers can effectively plan their harvest schedule with confidence.

Operational Advantages in the Field

• Efficiency by Design: As a determinate variety, «Hidalgo» requires less pruning, significantly reducing labor costs per hectare compared to indeterminate types.
• Perfect for Processing: The 60–80 gram cylindrical fruits are ideally sized for whole-canning. Their firm texture ensures they hold their shape perfectly in jars.
• Market Durability: Excellent transportability allows for long-distance shipping, ensuring the produce arrives at its destination in pristine condition.

Whether you choose the red or yellow variation, «Hidalgo» offers high commercial value. The fruit size is uniform, which streamlines the grading and packaging processes. In field conditions, this variety is known for its ability to withstand fluctuations in temperature, consistently setting fruit even when weather conditions are less than ideal.

For agricultural enterprises, «Hidalgo» serves as a versatile workhorse. It is perfect for canning facilities looking for high-density, high-yielding raw materials, as well as for growers supplying fresh markets. Its superior shelf-life provides the flexibility to wait for optimal market pricing, making it a sound business decision for those focused on maximizing returns.
