The vegetation period is approximately 97-100 days from germination to ripening. The plant is compact, 50-60 cm tall, requiring staking and pruning. Leaves are medium-sized, green, inflorescences are simple, peduncle with joint.

The fruits of tomato Grinya are round, smooth, weighing from 110 to 135 grams, with red coloration at full ripeness and light-green in immature state. They are very dense, juicy, sweet, do not crack, have 3-4 locules. Due to excellent taste and high density, the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption in salads as well as for all types of processing, including pickling and canning.
