Tomato ELOU MIMI (Yellow River F1) is an early determinate hybrid with low-growing bushes reaching up to one meter in height. This variety was developed by the Italian company United Genetics and is distinguished by good adaptability to various climatic conditions due to its well-developed root system, which ensures plant nutrition even under adverse weather. The ripening period is approximately 65-70 days from transplanting seedlings, allowing for a relatively quick harvest. The plants are resistant to temperature fluctuations, viral and fungal diseases, making them reliable for cultivation in open ground and under plastic covers. The fruits of tomato ELOU MIMI have a bright yellow color and a plum-like shape, with a weight ranging from 70 to 100 grams. These tomatoes are meaty, with a high content of dry matter, giving them a rich flavor. Yellow tomatoes are considered the least caloric among all varieties and are suitable for people with high gastric acidity, as they contain less vitamin C compared to red varieties. Thanks to their good storability and ability to retain flavor and quality, these tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption, salad preparation, juice, and canning. The harvest ripens uniformly and withstands transportation well. Cultivating tomato ELOU MIMI requires following certain agronomic practices. Sowing seeds is recommended from February, and transplanting seedlings into open ground should be done in April–May, when the plants have developed 5–6 true leaves. For planting, choose a site with loose, slightly acidic, and nutrient-rich soil, to which wood ash, superphosphate, and compost are added. The distance between plants should be about 50 cm. Care includes regular but not excessive watering followed by soil loosening, feeding with organic and mineral fertilizers, as well as weed removal and pinching. Due to their low height, tomatoes do not require staking and are wind-resistant, simplifying care and increasing yield.
