Tomato ELISEEVSKY

Resilience and Breeding: The Legacy of the A.G. Lorch Federal Research Center

The 'Yeliseevsky' tomato is the result of dedicated breeding at the A.G. Lorch Federal Research Center. This determinate variety has secured a stable position in the mid-early tomato segment, focusing on high technological efficiency and predictable outcomes. Breeders prioritized not only a yield of 70–100 tons per hectare but also robust biological defense mechanisms, critical for minimizing pesticide reliance.

Agronomic Potential and Pathogen Resistance

The core strength of this variety is its formidable immunity to a wide spectrum of pathogens. 'Yeliseevsky' successfully resists the fungal and bacterial threats that frequently compromise harvests. The variety demonstrates high tolerance against:

• Bacterial and Fusarium wilt;
• Blossom-end and root rot;
• Verticillium wilt and Mycosphaerella leaf spot;
• Powdery mildew and brown spot.

Crop Characteristics

As a determinate plant, 'Yeliseevsky' matures within 90–100 days, allowing for concentrated harvest scheduling. The fruits are cylindrical with an average weight of 40–60 grams. With color variants including red and orange, the variety is highly sought after for both whole-fruit canning and fresh market consumption, where skin firmness and aesthetic appeal are essential.
