CHRISTIAN

Tomato Christian is an early-maturing determinate hybrid with a compact plant height of about 75 cm. From seedlings to the first harvest, it takes 85-90 days. The first flower cluster forms after 5-6 leaves, and subsequent ones appear every 1-2 leaves. Fruit clusters are simple or semi-complex, containing 6-10 fruits with smooth surface and slightly noticeable ridges at the stem attachment. Fruits are flat-round, bright red, weighing about 100-120 g, with five small seed chambers. Flavor qualities are good, and fruit consistency is uniform, making them suitable for both fresh consumption and various preservation methods.

The hybrid has high yield — up to 15 kg per square meter at a planting density of 5 plants per m². Tomato Christian has good transportability and storability, facilitating its storage and transportation. It is resistant to cracking and blossom-end rot, and tolerant to diseases such as tomato mosaic virus, alternaria, and phytophthora.

This hybrid is adapted to various weather conditions and suitable for cultivation both in open ground and greenhouses, making it an ideal choice for the middle belt of Russia. The compactness of the plant and disease resistance ensure ease of care and stable yield even under adverse conditions.
