Briskolino F1

Tomato Briskolino F1 is a medium-early, low-growing determinate hybrid developed by United Genetics. The plant reaches a height of up to one meter and has a well-developed root system, ensuring nutrition even under adverse climatic conditions. The technical maturity period occurs 65-75 days after transplanting seedlings, allowing cultivation both in open ground and under plastic cover. The hybrid is resistant to bacterial spot, alternaria, fusarium, and verticillium wilt, as well as tomato bronze virus, guaranteeing a stable yield across various regions of the country.

The fruits of tomato Briskolino have an oval shape, resembling a mini-cherry, and a deep red color. The weight of one fruit ranges from 25 to 45 grams, depending on growing conditions. Tomatoes are characterized by high density, do not crack, and have excellent storability, enabling long-distance transportation without loss of quality. The flavor is highly appreciated for its intensity and dry matter content (Brix 7.0°–7.5°), making them ideal for fresh consumption, salad preparation, juice, and canning.

Tomato Briskolino can be grown using seedlings or direct sowing. Seeds are sown into individual pots or trays, and after 35 days, seedlings are transplanted to their permanent location. For successful growth at the beginning of the season, it is recommended to harden off the plants and protect them from pests using insecticides and fungicides. The plant tolerates temperature fluctuations and hot weather, ensuring stable fruiting and high yield regardless of weather conditions.
