Tomato Beril F1 is a medium-maturing, high-yielding indeterminate hybrid developed by the Dutch seed company Rijk Zwaan. The plant is characterized by high light tolerance and heat resistance, allowing successful cultivation in plastic greenhouses with emergency heating during extended and short crop rotations, including spring, summer, and autumn periods. Due to its short internodes and good fruit set, the hybrid demonstrates stable yields of up to 70 tons per hectare when planted at a density of 28,000–33,000 plants per hectare.
The fruits of tomato Beril F1 have a flat-round shape and a vibrant, deep red color with smooth skin and a slight sheen. The average fruit weight ranges from 130 to 170 grams. They possess a dense structure, high storability, and excellent transportability, enabling storage of the harvest for up to two months after picking. Tomatoes are characterized by a sweet taste due to high sugar content and are not prone to cracking or sunburn.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases of solanaceous crops, including nematodes, cladosporiosis, verticillium wilt, and tobacco mosaic virus. This makes it a reliable choice for cultivation throughout Ukraine. Tomatoes Beril F1 are versatile in use: they can be consumed fresh or used for processing into juices, paste, and sauces.
