GOLDEN KENIGSBERG

Golden Königsberg is a medium-maturing, tall tomato variety suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and in open ground. The plant is indeterminate, reaching a height of 1.2 to 1.8 meters, with a typical green bush and a small number of leaves. For optimal fruit formation, pinching and removal of the top after forming 6-8 flower clusters are required. Flowers form axillary, which contributes to good fruit set even under extreme conditions.

The fruits of this variety have an oval-shaped, eggplant-like form, golden color, and weigh between 250 to 320 grams, with early fruits reaching up to 450 grams. They are smooth, dense, low-seeded, and possess a rich sweet flavor with high carotene content, giving them special value and comparable to "Siberian apricots." From one plant, you can harvest 2 to 3 buckets of tomatoes, with yields reaching up to 30 kg per square meter in open ground, and even higher yields in greenhouses.

The variety features excellent appearance and good keeping quality during transport, making it versatile for use both fresh and for full-fruit canning. To maintain high fruiting, regular application of organic-mineral fertilizers is recommended. Additionally, Golden Königsberg exhibits enhanced resistance to late blight, significantly simplifying care and increasing yield reliability.
