Tomato DAWN OF THE GARDEN

Technological parameters and morphology

The «Dachnaya Radost» tomato by Aelita Agrofirm is a determinate cultivar optimized for stable yields in open fields and under temporary film shelters. The breeding work conducted by V. G. Kachaynik, M. N. Gulkin, and S. V. Matyunina focused on developing a compact plant that efficiently redistributes nutrients for cluster formation.

Biological potential and resistance

A key feature of this variety is its comprehensive resistance to pathogens that limit tomato productivity. Its genetic profile protects the crop against Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV), Fusarium wilt, and Cladosporiosis (leaf mold). This is critical for producers, as it reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications.

• Ripening cycle: the growing season is 100–120 days, classifying it as a mid-season variety.
• Fruit parameters: weight ranges from 20 to 60 grams. The rounded shape ensures uniform packing, while the firm skin guarantees excellent transportability.
• Storage properties: the ability of the fruits to maintain their marketability for over 30 days post-harvest makes «Dachnaya Radost» suitable for both fresh markets and long-term storage.

The agronomically sound determinate growth habit allows for optimized planting schemes without requiring complex staking systems, simplifying plant maintenance in both industrial and small-scale operations.
