Karina

Tomato Karina is an early indeterminate hybrid developed by the company 'Elitnyy Ryad'. The vegetation period from germination to ripening is 95–100 days. The plant is medium-leafy and reaches a height of 190 to 210 cm. The first flower cluster forms above the 6th–7th leaf, and subsequent clusters are set every 1–2 leaves. Each cluster is simple and contains 5 to 6 fruits.

The fruits of tomato Karina have a round shape with a characteristic nipple and intense red color. The weight of one fruit varies from 140 to 180 g. Tomatoes have a dense structure, ensuring good transportability and storage during transit. The taste qualities of the fruits are high, making them attractive to consumers.

The yield of tomato Karina is 22 to 26 kg per square meter, with approximately 5 kg/m² obtainable during the first two harvests. The standard fruit output reaches 98%. The hybrid is resistant to such diseases as alternaria and tobacco mosaic virus (TMV), which contributes to a stable and high-quality harvest.
