This linoleic hybrid is characterized by stable oil content and high tolerance to major diseases such as Fomopsis, Fomoz, and root sclerotinia. It is also resistant to A-G races of Helicotylenchus, ensuring reliable protection against parasitic weeds. The sunflower plants reach a medium height of approximately 162 cm, have a corm diameter of about 15.8 cm, and a thousand-seed weight of about 75 g, which contributes to a good yield and seed quality.

SX 503 A is distinguished by high plasticity and drought resistance, which allows it to be successfully grown in various climatic conditions and on different soil types. The recommended sowing rate varies depending on the level of moisture: 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare with insufficient moisture, and up to 55 thousand with sufficient moisture.
