Sulfostar sunflower hybrid is a modern, high-yielding crop developed using the latest agronomic technologies. Sulfostar seeds are resistant to sulfonylurea herbicides, enabling effective weed control throughout the entire vegetation period. Thanks to the cultivation technology using tribenuron-methyl-based products, such as Granstar, sunflower exhibits high weed resistance, reducing herbicide application costs and promoting increased yields. The herbicide application rate is 30-50 g/ha, applied during the 2-6 true leaf stage, providing reliable protection against weeds such as ragweed, sowthistle, and dandelion.

The recommended plant density varies depending on soil moisture levels and ranges from 45 to 65 thousand plants per hectare.
In addition, under the Sulfostar trademark, a highly effective fungicide SULFOSTAR 800 SC based on sulfur (800 g/l) is produced, designed for preventive protection of plants against powdery mildew, rust, and other fungal diseases. This contact-action fungicide blocks pathogen respiration through emitted vapors and possesses an additional acaricidal effect against mites and thrips. The recommended fungicide dosage is 3-6 liters per hectare, and application must be conducted before the appearance of infection symptoms. SULFOSTAR 800 SC is suitable for treating grapevines, fruit trees, vegetable, and field crops, providing reliable protection and improving plant growth and development.
