Sunflower Irina is an early-maturing and ultra-early hybrid that allows harvesting within approximately 100 days. This hybrid was developed using the new herbicide technology AIR, providing resistance to herbicides Evolightning and Granstar, allowing optimal choice of seed treatment methods depending on weed composition and field conditions. Moreover, the AIR technology includes genetic resistance to A-G races of ragweed, eliminating the need for herbicides with residual effects on subsequent crops in crop rotation.

Hybrid Irina is distinguished by high oil content in seeds — from 48 to 50%, as well as stable yield reaching up to 3 tons per hectare. It exhibits excellent drought resistance, resistance to powdery mildew, and high seed purity. Thanks to its extensive growth type, this sunflower requires fewer fertilizers and less frequent plant protection applications, reducing cultivation costs and making it attractive for farmers, especially in southern, eastern, and northern regions.

Sowing rate is 40-55 thousand seeds per hectare, taking into account the insurance reserve, which allows one bag of seeds to cover an area from 2.7 to 3.75 hectares. The hybrid is suitable for inclusion in crop rotation after barley and winter wheat. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, sunflower Irina is a reliable choice for obtaining high-quality and stable yields under various climatic conditions.
