Stevia MARFA is a variety of Stevia rebaudiana plant developed by scientific institutions and intended for cultivation in accordance with agronomic recommendations. The plant belongs to the family of Asteraceae, has a vertical stem up to 1.5 meters high, numerous branches, and a paired leaf structure. Small white flowers (about 3 mm) are located in miniature baskets.
MARFA is distinguished by high sweetness - almost thirty times stronger than sugar - while the caloric content is practically zero, which makes it an ideal natural sweetener. The composition includes stevioside, flavonoids (rutin, quercetin, etc.), vitamins A, B1, B2, C, R and PP, as well as micro- and macro-elements: chromium, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, selenium, potassium, calcium. Thanks to these components, the plant has antioxidant properties and does not contain gluten, which makes the product suitable for vegans.
Stevia MARFA is widely used in cooking: added to baking, cocktails, yogurts, tea, coffee, chocolate, porridge, cookies, bread, and when preparing vegetables and fruits. It dissolves well in liquids and retains its properties even at high temperatures, which allows it to be used as a sugar substitute in confectionery, pickles, preserves, and marinades. Application is safe: the recommended dose is 0.5 g per 1 kg of body mass, there are no contraindications.
