Sunrich Sunflower is an annual plant distinguished by bright and attractive flower colors. The Sunrich Orange variety features flower heads 12-15 cm in diameter with sun-orange petals and a brown center, as well as dark green leaves. The plant grows to a height of 120-190 cm and blooms from July to October, attracting birds and butterflies. The flowers are pollen-free, making them especially attractive for decorative use, including in bouquets.
Sunrich Orange F1 grows to 130-190 cm and blooms from June to September. For planting, open ground is recommended with sowing at the end of April to early May, covering the seeds with soil and spacing plants 20-30 cm apart. For earlier blooming, sowing in seedlings can be done at the beginning of April. The plant prefers sunny, warm, and wind-protected locations with fertile, loose, and neutral soil. Sunflower is light-loving and heat-loving, and does not tolerate frost. The flower heads always face the sun, which is a characteristic feature of this variety.
In addition, there is a variety called Sunrich Up Gold, which features large bright yellow flowers 13-14 cm in diameter and heart-shaped leaves with serrated edges. This plant is also highly decorative, looks great in gardens and flowerbeds, creating bright accents. Sunrich Up Gold prefers sunny locations and well-drained soils, and is highly drought-tolerant, making it suitable for regions with hot climates. In addition to its decorative qualities, this sunflower can also be used as a bird and animal feed crop, as its seeds are rich in oil and protein.
