Sunflower NS H 4916 is a high-oleic hybrid recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones. This early-maturing variety features improved Clearfield Plus cultivation technology, providing high resistance to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl. Due to these properties, the hybrid is widely used in oilseed production and meets international quality standards.
Hybrid NS H 4916 has high yield and resistance to adverse conditions such as drought, lodging, and shattering. Oil content in seeds ranges from 47–49%, making it especially valuable for producing high-quality sunflower oil. Seed moisture content is within 21–23%, facilitating efficient processing and reducing losses during harvest.
Sunflower seeds NS H 4916 were developed by the Serbian breeding program of the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad and are successfully applied in agricultural practice in more than 26 countries worldwide. This hybrid combines high productivity, herbicide resistance, and adaptability to various climatic conditions, making it an optimal choice for farmers focused on oilseed production.
