NS H 26752

Sunflower NS H 26752 is a simple hybrid of Serbian selection, developed by the Institute of Plant Sciences in Novi Sad and recommended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine. This hybrid belongs to the medium-maturing group with a vegetation period of 102 to 110 days, ensuring timely maturation and high productivity. Plants reach a height of 1.6 to 1.8 meters, have a strong and branched root system, as well as a sturdy stem, which contributes to resistance against lodging and ensures stable yield throughout the vegetation period.

The seed head of sunflower NS H 26752 is thin, convex, with a diameter of 18 to 27 cm, fully formed and contains black elongated seeds. Oil content of seeds varies from 47 to 51%, which is an important indicator for obtaining high profits from product sales. The thousand-seed weight is 60-70 grams, and the seed alkalinity ranges from 23-25%. Leafiness of plants is good, which contributes to optimal photosynthesis and crop development.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, fusarium, phomopsis, gray mold, and rust. In addition, NS H 26752 shows resistance to seven races of parasitic plant dodder (A-G), as well as to sunflower moth. Drought resistance and resistance to seed shattering make this hybrid a reliable choice for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe areas. Potential yield reaches 30-50 centners/ha, with the recommended sowing rate being 50-55 thousand seeds per hectare for steppe zones and 55-60 thousand for forest-steppe zones.
