NA Dersan is a high-yielding oilseed sunflower hybrid developed with modern agronomic technologies and resistance to various diseases and pests. Produced by the Serbian breeding company NS Seme and supplied by NERTUS AGRO. This hybrid has a medium maturity period of 96 to 113 days, allowing effective use in various climatic conditions. Seeds are treated with fungicides and are intended for sowing on areas of 2.2 to 2.5 hectares, ensuring optimal plant stand density.
Plants of this hybrid reach heights of 160 to 180 cm, have strong medium-thickness stems covered with stiff hairs, and a robust root system providing drought and lodging resistance. The sunflower head is thin, convex-shaped, with a diameter of 18 to 25 cm, and semi-downward oriented, promoting efficient seed formation. Seeds are black or black-gray in color, elongated or oval-shaped, with high oil content — 49 to 51%, and low impurity levels of 21-23%, making this hybrid attractive to the oil industry.
NA Dersan exhibits high resistance to diseases, including powdery mildew, Phomopsis, Phomoz, rust, as well as tolerance to various strains of bird cherry (A-G+). The hybrid is also resistant to sulfonylurea herbicides and suitable for SUMO cultivation technology and herbicide Granstar. High growth intensity in early vegetation and excellent leafing promote rapid plant development and high potential yield, exceeding 48 centners per hectare. This hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality sunflower crop.
