Hysun 310 SU

Hysun 310 SU sunflower is a high-oil linoleic sulfogibrid developed by the ADVANTA breeding group. This mid-season hybrid with a vegetation period of 114–122 days stands out for its high oil content in seeds, reaching 50–52%, making it an excellent choice for oil production. Hysun 310 SU is adapted to various climatic conditions in Ukraine, including the Forest-Steppe and Steppe regions, and is recommended for cultivation in these areas. The average plant height is about 172–179 cm, which contributes to good resistance to lodging and shattering.

One of the key features of Hysun 310 SU is its high resistance to all known biotypes (A–G) of downy mildew, including new forms, as well as to sulfonylurea-based herbicides, which simplifies weed control. The hybrid also shows tolerance to several sunflower diseases, such as phomopsis, phomosis, and peronosporosis, as well as to pests, including cabbage aphid and others. This ensures stable yields and reduces the risk of losses under unfavorable growing conditions.

The recommended seeding rate varies depending on soil moisture levels: from 40–45 thousand plants per hectare under low moisture to 60–65 thousand under adequate moisture. The hybrid demonstrates a high yield potential of about 40 centners per hectare, which remains stable under various cultivation conditions. The ability to use the herbicide Express and resistance to lodging make Hysun 310 SU a reliable and efficient choice for farmers aiming to obtain a high-quality and stable sunflower crop.
