Soybean variety DH401 is a medium-early, high-yielding new-generation variety with a vegetation period of 100-105 days and a heat sum of 2500 CHU. This variety is characterized by high adaptability to soils and is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones. Plants reach a height of 65 to 80 cm, with the lower pods attached at 12-15 cm. The flowers are purple, and the seed coat is light or yellowish, which is a characteristic morphological feature of this variety. DH401 has a high yield potential, reaching 40-48 c/ha (7.2 t/ha), due to its intensive type and high agronomic productivity. The variety is characterized by high drought resistance, excellent resistance to lodging and pod cracking, as well as high resistance to bacterial blight, white mold, and phytophthora. Vigorous and uniform seed germination promotes rapid and uniform plant development, positively affecting the final yield. Soybean DH401 is not demanding regarding sowing methods and timing, allowing it to be sown both in early optimal periods and later, up to May 20. The recommended sowing depth is 3-4 cm, and the seeding rate varies from 560,000 to 750,000 seeds per hectare depending on growing conditions and row width (12.5-38 cm). The variety is suitable for all soil types and requires traditional soil preparation typical for the cultivation zone. High protein content (41.3-44%) and oil content (about 20%) make this variety attractive for agricultural production and processing.
