Description Klussenovskaya
Medium-ripening variety, obtained at the Institute of Berry Growing of the NAS of Belarus from crossing the varieties Paulinka and Pilot Alexander Mamkin. Authors: A.G. Voluznev, N.A. Zazulina, G.P. Rainchikova. Under state variety testing since 2002.

Bush is tall, slightly spreading, medium dense. Growing shoots are green, weakly colored with anthocyanin, hairless, medium thickness, with characteristic dark rust-brown spots. Woody shoots are gray, hairless, shiny, with dark-brown "spots" in the upper part, internodes are short and medium. Buds are small, red-violet, spindle-shaped, with a slightly bent sharp tip, deviated from the shoot, apical — not free (smaller buds are located nearby), large, sharp, thin. Leaf scars are round.

Leaf is five-lobed, small, green, flat, weakly dissected, shiny, with nearly straight blade. Leaf margin is wavy. Notches between lobes are sharp, deep. Central lobe is narrow, sharp, slightly differs in length from lateral lobes, with additional protrusions. Lateral lobes are sharp, short, angle between their veins is acute or straight. Upper sides of lateral lobes are elevated and positioned at an angle to the central vein, lower sides — nearly vertical. Basal lobes are moderately expressed, their veins are directed downward, towards the tip of the leaf or spread out. Base has an open, small notch, which is practically absent in many leaves. Teeth are small, very sharp. Petiole is colored, hairless.

Flowers are small, greenish-pink. Stigma is at the level of stamens. Inflorescences are medium length and density, axis medium thickness.

Berries are large (1.2 g), black, shiny, oval, with thin skin, tart-sweet flavor (4.5 points), pleasant, versatile use. Calyx is round, closed, small, pedicel medium length. Chemical composition: dry matter — 13.4%, total sugars — 8.5%, titratable acidity — 3.0%, ascorbic acid — 193.4 mg/100 g, pectic substances (on fresh weight) — 1.3%.

Cold-hardy variety, highly self-fertile, no berry drop, moderately affected by American powdery mildew and leaf spot diseases, high yielding (12.0–13.0 t/ha).

Advantages of the variety: high yield.

Disadvantages of the variety: susceptible to fungal diseases.
