Valmound F1 corn represents a high-yielding long-stalked hybrid of sweet corn (sh2) with a powerful growth force and resistance to unfavorable environmental conditions. Plants reach a height of 180 to 220 cm, ensuring good development and cob formation. The vegetation period is about 75-79 days, allowing the hybrid to mature early and be used for fresh consumption and storage.
Valmound corn cobs have a length of 23 to 27 cm and a diameter of 50-55 mm, with well-covered apices by leaves. Grains are rectangular in shape, a rich yellow color, contain 15-16% total sugars, ensuring a very sweet taste without a starchy aftertaste. Thanks to these qualities, the variety is ideal for implementation on the market for fresh products and can be stored for up to two weeks at a temperature of 18-20 °C.
The Valmound F1 hybrid is characterized by high yield, stability, and disease resistance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including open ground. The recommended sowing rate is 40-45 thousand plants per hectare without irrigation and 50-70 thousand per hectare with irrigation, allowing to optimize yield depending on growing conditions.
