DORA sweet corn F1 is an early-maturing, high-yielding hybrid developed by GreenTime in Spain. The period from germination to milk maturity of the ears is about 68 days, and to full maturity - 72 days. Plants reach an average height of about 180 cm and have a high growth force. The hybrid demonstrates yield stability under various soil and climate conditions, making it universal for cultivation in different regions.
DORA corn ears are large, 21-24 cm in length and 4.5-6.5 cm in diameter, well-enclosed in dark green covering leaves. The kernels have a rich dark yellow color, rectangular shape and deep structure. Due to the high sugar content (16-18%), the corn flavor is particularly sweet without a starch aftertaste and is preserved for up to two weeks at 18-20 °C. This allows the crop to be used for both fresh consumption and vacuum storage.
The DORA hybrid is resistant to helminthosporium, which increases its reliability when growing. The recommended planting density is 40-45 thousand plants per hectare without irrigation and 50-70 thousand with irrigation, especially in southern regions. Due to the combination of early maturation, high yield, excellent taste and disease resistance, DORA F1 sweet corn is an excellent choice for farmers seeking to obtain high-quality and stable sweet corn crop.
