Description Schojoeri
Rosa Schoolgirl is a climbing variety bred in 1964 by breeder Samuel Daragh MacGredy IV. It features large, flat, slightly double flowers measuring 10-13 cm in diameter, composed of 17-25 velvety petals. The unique flower color combines rose-colored outer petals with a peach tone and pale coral inner petals with an orange-apricot base. When fully open, the flowers reveal red stamens, and the fragrance is rich and sweet, making this variety especially appealing to gardeners.

Flowering for Rosa Schoolgirl is not overly abundant, with blooms forming at the tips of first- or second-year stems. The rose is repeat-flowering and tolerates rainy weather well, making it suitable for decorating fences, pergolas, arches, and small groups against a lawn backdrop. The plant’s leaves are glossy and dark green, which enhances the brightness and uniqueness of the flowers.

This variety has moderate resistance to powdery mildew and good resistance to rain, but requires preventive measures to avoid black spot and water damage to blooms. Thanks to its large, vibrant flowers with a rare coloration among climbing roses, along with its enduring fragrance, Rosa Schoolgirl will become an eye-catching addition to any garden.
