V 386 OL

Rapeseed variety V 386 OL is characterized by high oil content, about 80% oleic acid and approximately 2.3% linolenic acid, which ensures very high quality and value of the obtained oil. The plant has a medium ripening degree and good stem resistance, which facilitates successful cultivation on various soil types — from light ones such as sandy and loamy, to medium and heavy ones, including loess, clay, and peat soils, as well as highland areas. This rapeseed is widely used as a green manure and cover crop. Its sowing period is from August 1 to September 20, coinciding with the sowing period of winter cereal crops. Rapeseed contributes to enriching the soil with organic matter, phosphorus, and sulfur, improving soil structure and fertility. After decomposition, the plant biomass becomes easily assimilated fertilizer, positively affecting subsequent crops. The seeding rate is 100-200 grams per square meter. Moreover, V 386 OL is valued as a forage and honey-producing crop. It quickly regrows and accumulates significant green mass even in cold autumn and spring periods, making it an effective means of suppressing weeds and pathogenic microorganisms. Using this rapeseed contributes to improving soil health and increasing yields of subsequent agricultural crops.
