VIKROS

VIKROS is a spring rapeseed variety intended for oilseed and green fodder cultivation. It is characterized by early maturity with a vegetative period of 88 to 108 days, allowing for harvest collection under favorable weather conditions. The plants are medium-sized, ranging from 96 to 105 cm in height, with green leaves lacking an anthocyanin tint and a weak waxy coating. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to lodging and suitability for mechanized harvesting, which facilitates agronomic operations and enhances production efficiency.

VIKROS seeds contain an elevated oil content — from 43.5 to 48%, as well as protein within the range of 22-24%. The oil belongs to the group of best edible fats, with a high content of physiologically valuable oleic and linoleic fatty acids (about 81%). Erucic acid is absent in the seeds, and glucosinolate content is low — 11-14 µmol/g, which allows the use of cake and meal in the diets of animals and birds in increased rates without harm to health.

The variety was created using intraspecific hybridization and is distinguished by ecological plasticity, uniform flowering and maturation, as well as stable productivity. Seed yield reaches 2.5-3.0 t/ha, green mass — 28-30 t/ha, dry matter — 2.6-2.9 t/ha. The mass of 1000 seeds is 4.0-4.4 g. VIKROS is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including North-Western, Central, Volga-Vyatsky, and West-Siberian, which confirms its adaptability and reliability in different climatic conditions.
