Description RH108 / PH108
RH108 Rapeseed is a winter rapeseed hybrid widely used as a cover crop to improve soil quality and increase crop yields. It is distinguished by high winter hardiness, resistance to lodging and diseases such as phoma and verticillium, ensuring stable growth and crop protection. The medium-early classic hybrid features a strong branched structure, high oil content, and genetic resistance to pod cracking, contributing to yield retention.

This crop is valued for its ability to rapidly accumulate green mass, making it an effective green manure and forage crop. RH108 contributes to enriching the soil with organic matter, phosphorus, and sulfur, and improves soil structure by oxygenating it and preventing nutrient leaching from topsoil layers. After decomposition, rapeseed biomass becomes readily available fertilizer, increasing humus content and enhancing soil fertility.

Rapeseed can be grown twice a year — in spring and autumn — allowing effective use for soil erosion control and property improvement. However, the crop requires careful selection of planting location and is not recommended for repeated cultivation on the same plot. RH108 is suitable for sowing at a rate of 400–500 thousand seeds per hectare, ensuring optimal plant development and maximum benefit to agroecosystems.
