The herbicide Otaman is a systemic desiccant with full-action effect, developed for effective control of annual and perennial weeds. The active ingredient is isopropylamine salt of glyphosate at a concentration of 480 g/l (acid equivalent 360 g/l), ensuring rapid and reliable penetration into plant tissues followed by inhibition of protein synthesis. As a result, the first visible effects of treatment appear within 10–12 days, and full effect is achieved within 14 days after application. The product is available as a water-soluble concentrate and is supplied in convenient 20-liter containers. Otaman is intended for protecting a wide range of agricultural crops, including cereals, wheat, potatoes, sunflower, rapeseed, corn, soy, as well as fruit trees and vegetable crops such as apples, plums, grapes, tomatoes, and cabbage. It is recommended to apply the herbicide during the active growth phase of weeds under favorable weather conditions, ensuring maximum treatment effectiveness. The recommended application rate of working solution is 150–250 liters per hectare, with a maximum of one application per season. The product is distinguished by high desiccation efficiency and prolonged protective period at low cost, making it a cost-effective solution for farmers. The herbicide Otaman is produced by Alpha Smart Agro and requires storage at temperatures from 0°C to +40°C.
