Elmer CL

The winter rapeseed hybrid Elmer CL is a high-yielding and stress-tolerant plant developed by BASF (Bayer) for the Clearfield® system. This hybrid features medium-early maturity and combines high winter hardiness, lodging resistance, and tolerance to the disease phoma. Elmer CL exhibits active autumn growth, which contributes to successful adaptation and yield formation under various climatic conditions.

Elmer CL has a high yield potential, reaching 40-55 c/ha, making it an attractive choice for agricultural producers. The hybrid has a medium plant height of about 165-170 cm and an average pod length of 6-7 cm. It is distinguished by very high oil content and low glucosinolate levels, positively affecting product quality. The hybrid's flowering onset is medium, and its autumn development and winter hardiness are rated as high.

The Elmer CL hybrid is suitable for various cultivation technologies, including minimal soil tillage, and demonstrates high suitability for early and late sowing. The recommended seeding rate is 450-500 thousand seeds per hectare. Due to its weed resistance, including to crucifers, and high lodging and phoma resistance, Elmer CL is an effective solution for enhancing the productivity and quality of winter rapeseed yields.
