Balerina

Primula 'BALERINA' is a perennial plant with large, bright orange flowers and a double leaf, which attracts attention with its rich coloring and decorative shape. Flowering begins in spring and continues until late summer, with each bud opening as a wide, shimmering petal with a contrasting center. For planting primrose in open ground, choose places with partial shade: bright morning sun and afternoon shade from neighboring shrubs or fruit-bearing trees create optimal conditions. The soil should be breathable, light, and well-drained; clay soils can be improved with a mixture of sand, manure, and sphagnum moss. Soil acidity should be kept neutral or slightly acidic. At planting, the distance between specimens is 15–20 cm depending on the variety size.

Care for 'BALERINA' is simple: regular watering, loosening, and weed removal are the main requirements for the plant. To extend the flowering period, cut off already faded buds, and if you wish to collect seeds, just leave a few flower stalks.
