Macho

Tomato MACHO is an early-maturing hybrid intended for cultivation in both plastic greenhouses and open ground in trellis culture. The period from germination to the first harvest is 103–107 days. The plant is indeterminate, vigorous, reaching up to 250 cm in height. The first truss forms above the seventh leaf, subsequent trusses every three leaves. Fruits are round, smooth, bright red, without green spot at the stem, dense, weighing up to 250 g, with excellent taste and universal use. Yield and fruit quality are high, making this variety attractive for commercial cultivation.

A distinctive feature of this variety is its high resistance to diseases such as Alternaria, phytophthora, and tobacco mosaic virus, which significantly simplifies care and reduces crop losses. Moreover, tomato MACHO is exceptionally cold-tolerant, well withstands spring frosts and temperature fluctuations, broadening its cultivation possibilities in various climatic conditions.

The plant is bushy, semi-spreading, with a high content of anthocyanin — a purple pigment that enhances cold resistance. Fruits have a conical shape with 3–4 chambers, internal partitions colored in anthocyanin-purple. Average fruit weight is 100–250 g, wall thickness 4–5 mm. Fruits have a strong pleasant spicy aroma, adding additional appeal to consumers.
