Tomato Ferrol is an early-maturing indeterminate hybrid that begins fruiting 90-95 days after germination. The plant features vigorous growth with short internodes, and the first flower cluster forms above the ninth leaf. Each cluster produces 4 to 6 fruits, maintaining consistent fruit size even on upper clusters. The peduncle is equipped with a joint, facilitating harvest.
The fruits of tomato Ferrol are flat-round in shape with slight ribbing, bright red in color, and weigh 200 to 300 grams. They are characterized by dense flesh, excellent taste, high marketability, and good transportability. Due to these qualities, this tomato is suitable for both commercial cultivation in greenhouses and home use in gardens.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a wide range of diseases, including tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), tobacco streak virus (TSWV), Fusarium (Ff), cladosporiosis (Fol), verticillium wilt (For), as well as Fusarium root rot (Va, Vd) and root-knot nematode (Mi). It is recommended for cultivation in all types of greenhouses, providing yields exceeding 36 kg per square meter.
